The author of these images has faithfully recreated the cover of the AKIRA manga and anime, a highly successful publication in the 1980s in Japan and in the rest of the world. Just the box with the series name logo already has a lot of hard work. It has been missing finding a better substitute for the protagonist's motorcycle but that tricycle marries very well with Animal Crossing's own aesthetic.

Both the series and the Pokémon video game saga are highly successful worldwide.
