With the US Open, the next Grand Slam is just around the corner – and the current Top Spin 2K25 is taking this as an opportunity to start the new Season 3.
Top Spin 2K25 cont inues to follow the real tennis calendar and once again focuses on the most important current tennis tournament. Season 3 focuses on the US Open and its legendary blue courts in Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York. This season, you can take on the challenges of the US Open in World Tour mode and unlock themed rewards.
There will also be additional content in Season 3, most notably Caroline Garcia, another free-to-play professional player. She expands the roster of available tennis stars and is available to all owners of the game in 2K Tour and Exhibition mode.
The Laver Cup will also be introduced in the game, where Team Europe will compete against Team World. As soon as you have achieved Young Gun status in your career, you can take part in the Laver Cup in September as a playable event in the Men’s Tour in MyCareer. You will then be on the court as a MyPlayer or professional for several days. Players such as Sinner and Alcaraz will also compete for Team Europe, while competitors such as Tiafoe and Shelton will be waiting for you on Team World.
Four matches are played each day in the competition: three singles and one doubles. In the event of a tie, there is a possible doubles tiebreaker on the third day. The daily wins are weighted incrementally, with points increasing from 1 to 3 depending on the day, until the first team reaches 13 points.
Last but not least, the GOAT status is introduced in MyCareer and is unlocked when you have achieved all of your goals. The status is then dynamic, so you have to complete new challenges, goals and milestones every season to keep it. There is also a new Centre Court Pass with 50 reward levels, 13 of which are free. In total, there are 42 free rewards and 106 premium rewards to be won, including cosmetic items and accessories.
