If you play video games regularly, there is a very good chance that many of your games were developed in Montreal, Canada. The city has indeed been at the heart of the industry for many years, thanks to a very important creative pool and local guidelines favoring studios.
To encourage this creativity and encourage companies to settle in Montreal, the initiative is Montreal International posted a video showing the city and its advantages. To illustrate this, Montreal has partnered with 18 video game animation and development studios including Eidos, Ubisoft, Warner Bros Games, Gameloft, Ludia and Epic Games. The result is Assassin’s Creed II’s Ezio Auditore driving across town to his office. On the way he meets Batgirl, Scooby and at the end watches clips from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, Blade Runner 2049, Dungeon Hunter Champions and Fortnite.
