The puzzle-platformer series Trine goes into the next round. Frozenbyte has now officially confirmed a fifth part together with THQ Nordic.
Trine has developed from an initially small title to an insider tip and ultimately to a thoroughly successful series of games – and it is now officially continuing. Developer Frozenbyte and publisher THQ Nordic have now officially confirmed work on Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy. The fifth part of the series is to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch, but there is no release date for the time being.
In Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, Zoya the Thief, Amadeus the Wizard and Pontius the Knight embark on their most exciting journey yet. The charming 2.5D puzzle-platformer is set in a fantastic fairytale world and offers you 20 hand-designed levels to explore.
The journey takes you through glittering gemstone caves, dangerous underwater passages or even on a mighty airship high above the clouds. The heroes face off against a sinister and merciless duo of villains who do everything they can to take over the kingdom.
Trine 5 can be played alone or in co-op with up to three other players; the co-op is available both locally and online. The heroes must work together to throw back the Clockwork Army and keep the kingdom at peace. The puzzles to be solved become trickier when you compete with several players. New features also include the new skill quest system, multi-phase boss fights and more.
