The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for July 2024 are official, and with the presence of FF7 Crisis Core Reunion and two No More Heroes titles alone, it’s a great program. And for once, PSVR2 owners aren’t forgotten with the addition of Job Simulator in PS Plus Premium. Yes, it’s not very fresh, but is it the intention that counts? A late-announced surprise is also available until Sunday.
A free trial of the PS5 summer game in PlayStation Plus
PlayStation Plus has a nice surprise in store for its subscribers. Until Sunday, July 14, it is possible to try the next PS5 exclusive: Concord for free. A multiplayer hero shooter compared to Overwatch or even Guardians of the Galaxy from Marvel Studios for its universe. Initially, only those who pre-ordered the game had access to the early beta. But a few hours ago, the policy changed abruptly. Now this trial is also available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium subscribers.
Good news if the game is up to date, and that’s the whole question. At the moment, it’s had a bad start on PC even before release. The reason is quite simple: you have to have a PSN account and some users still don’t want to hear about it. In this early beta, you have access to four maps: Libronde, Aquatic Hazards, Stellar Chamber, Electrical Hazards, Bone Mines (only during the open beta). A fifth will be added for the open beta from July 18 to 21, 2024, which does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. As for the modes, here’s what you can expect:
- Trophy hunting : Collect bonus cards as a team to earn points and finish with the highest score
- recreation : A mode in which respawning is disabled. This is a transport and convoy protection
- Profession : It’s also impossible to respawn in what looks like a zone capture. But with a single location in the middle of the map to storm
- Zone controls (during open beta only): Players can respawn by capturing various points, of which you must control at least two for the score counter to activate. The team with the highest score wins
