QuakeCon will take place again from August 18th to 20th, 2022. A good reason for Microsoft to add some older Bethesda games to Game Pass. From now on, PC players will find 2 new titles in the selection, which we would like to introduce to you briefly.

These new games are waiting for you
An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire – Battlespire, released in 1997, differed greatly from the Elder Scrolls formula known today and dispensed with open world and many role-playing elements. Instead, the title played more like an action role-playing game, where you fight your way through a huge tower full of Daedra.
The Elder Scrolls: Redguard – The 1998 action-adventure game Redguard has even less in common with other games in the series than Battlespire. Bethesda tried a kind of copy of Tomb Raider here, in terms of controls, climbing, and challenging mission objectives. That didn’t work as well as hoped, but Redguard offers a huge island with a pirate setting, NPCs with full sound and an exciting story.

What is Battlespire and Redguard?
In addition to the two new titles, there is also free content for the Free2Play shooter Quake Champions. With the Game Pass you unlock all champions here.
In other countries there are three more titles, namely Quake 4, Wolfenstein 3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein new to Game Pass. However, these are currently not available in Europey. The reason for this is probably that the games were indexed in this country and are either not available at all or only available as a heavily censored version.
