Every week, Fortnite developers give away one or more free games, sometimes accompanied by generous bonuses. The titles offered last week are still available and, like their comrades, will not be available forever.

The next Epic Games Store free games will be released later this week, so you only have a few days left to get your hands on the last two on offer and it would be a shame to miss out as it’s a very recent release. You have until Thursday, August 15th at 4:59 p.m. to pick them up, after which they’ll be paid again.

CYGNI All Guns Blazing, an excellent free game just released

Because Konami is not just Yu-Gi-Oh and pachinkos, the Japanese company meets video games. In addition to its upcoming in-house licenses (Silent Hill 2 Remake and MGS 3 Remake), the publisher also occasionally supports smaller studios in the release of their games. This is the case with CYGNI All Guns Blazing, an excellent shoot’em up that includes some roguelike elements for a touch of modernity. A free Epic Games Store game that can be difficult at times but very exciting. A small highlight in a fairly neglected genre that was offered just a few days after its release. It would be a shame to miss it.

DNF Duel, a nice little fighting game

DNF Duel, on the other hand, smells more like a warm-up. The 2D fighting game is already available on the Epic Games Store during the Christmas period and is once again free. A godsend for those who may have missed their chance in the past. As a reminder, the title brings together the most emblematic characters of the Dungeon & Fighter license who take to the stage in arenas inspired by the franchise. Several modes are obviously included in this free Epic Games Store game. We find the classics such as ranked matches for the competitors, training or even the story mode to discover the origins of the characters. In itself, DNF Duel is not bad, but the developers failed to meet the expectations of the players due to almost no tracking and balancing problems that still persist two years after its release.

And it’s not over yet! All users can also collect a free content pack for Apex Legends. This will allow you to automatically unlock the Conduit healer and receive an epic Aqua Flow outfit. The next free game on the Epic Games Store is called Death’s Gambit: Afterlife. An excellent 2D platformer that mixes elements of Metroidvania and Soulslike.
