To close EVO 2022 in style, Capcom unveils an explosive trailer for two fighters from Street Fighter 6. Two other new commentators also make their debuts.
Following Kawano’s victory in the Street Fighter 5 round at EVO 2022, Capcom has set the aisles of the championship and the internet ablaze with some Street Fighter 6 news. Meet Kimberly and Yuri.
Kimberly and Yuri join the Street Fighter 6 roster
If Kimberly has already been announced, the appearance of Yuri seems to confirm the leak of Street Fighter 6’s 22 playable characters. The two young ladies, who are very different from each other, thus join their comrades Ryu, Guile, Jamie, Luke and Chun. Li
Kimberly combines her ninja skills with her love of 80’s pop culture to create a fighting style that is both unsettling and dangerous. Yuri is back, as mischievous as ever, and has added a few new tricks to her move palette to confuse her opponents.
Bubbly Kimberly is new, but Yuri is not. We saw them in Ultra Street Fighter 4 and SF 5.
Tasty Steve and James Chen, great regulars on the Capcom Pro Tour, have been recruited by the Japanese publisher. Together they will respond to player battles. This supplement is also intended to provide explanations of Street Fighter 6 gameplay that are understandable for everyone.
