Golden Sun is back! The role-playing classic will be available on the Switch in a few days.
Nintendo releases one old title after the next on the current console. With the online service including an expansion package, you can not only play classics like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Super Mario 64 – the JRPGs Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Forgotten Era will soon also be included in the offer.
What are the role-playing games about?
The two Golden Sun games were actually intended to be a single game, but had to be split due to the storage space limitations on the Gameboy Advanced. Therefore the second part starts exactly where the first game with one sequel follows
The setting is the world of Weyard, which is divided into two rival continents. The central point of conflict is alchemy: this is the name of the destructive magical power that was sealed many years ago.
But now she is in danger of being freed again. In the first part, the group of adventurers tries to prevent this – in the second game you experience the story of those who want to free alchemy.
The battle takes place using turn-based tactics, but there are also some puzzles waiting for the players in the world. The role-playing games were released in 2001 and 2002 received fantastic ratingsthe current metascores are 91 and 86.
