Any other famous guests besides Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna in Death Stranding 2? It’s obviously going in the right direction… Hideo Kojima recently scanned two personalities.
It is quite possible that Death Stranding 2 will still contain many guest appearances and here are some candidates.
Has Death Stranding 2 revealed its first two guests?
Elle Fanning will play an important role in the Death Stranding 2 cast, but Hideo Kojima is also said to be revamping his c oncept of Preppers. Characters who live in seclusion in their bunkers and appear in the form of a hologram. From them one can accept or give commands to reconstruct the chiral network.
The peculiarity of these preppers is that they were all based on existing personalities. We won’t list them all, but there were, for example, Geoff Keighley (the Game Awards organizer), director Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong Skull Island…) and Edgar Wright (Last night in Soho…), the horror mangaka Junji Ito or Hermen Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, who was still at Guerrilla Games, the studio of the Horizon franchise, at the time.
For the sequel, Kojima-san might add SS Rajamouli, the director of the Indian hit film RRR, to the list of Death Stranding 2 preppers. Between two promotional events for the feature film’s release in Japan, SS Rajamouli paid a visit to Kojima Productions. On his trip there, he was scanned by the father of the police officers.
Before the legend Mamoru OshiiShe, the director of the animated film Ghost in the Shell, also had herself photographed in the studio.
