Microsoft may have accidentally unveiled two games for Xbox Game Pass. And that would be two big titles in the Electronic Arts catalogue.
While a handful of games have already been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass for the first half of May 2022, there could also be two big titles in the game. One in particular made headlines for its disastrous start: Battlefield 2042.
Two big EA games coming to Xbox Game Pass soon?
Electronic Arts may have found the solution to bring players back to Battlefield 2042. Its latest FPS still can’t recover from its chaotic launch, and the game was at rock bottom on Steam a few days ago. Now that it’s received its first life-saving patch, EA could be gearing up for a new seduction operation while waiting for season one.
A few hours ago, Battlefield 2042 and FIFA 22 appeared in several European countries in the Xbox Game Pass section of the Xbox Store. However, they could not be downloaded despite mentioning the subscription service. Those who tried to click it were automatically redirected to the page to purchase an EA Play subscription. This little awkwardness by Microsoft, which has since been corrected, suggests Xbox Game Pass will soon be hosting these two big games through EA Play.
