The poll shows that this year you are up the most two sequels from well-known survival hits.
Sons of the Forest not only dominates the Survival Games survey with 53 percent of all votes, but is also the only title across all genres that was able to get more than half of all votes. Dying Light 2 still got 22 percent of all votes, which roughly corresponds to the value of the remaining candidates combined. But no wonder, after all, the open-world zombie game was also able to place in the top 3 of the shooter poll – despite much stronger competition.

Sons of the Forest: New trailer shows more gameplay for the sequel of the survival hit
Sons of the Forest is the successor to The Forest, one of the best survival games to date. Once again, you end up in an eponymous forest in which you not only have to build a base and manufacture equipment, but also have to deal with scary cannibals and nasty mutants.

Dying Light 2 new gameplay: can the game really work like this?
Also Dying Light 2 continues where the previous one left off. Again we fight and shoot our way through a zombie-infested open world, our preferred mode of locomotion is again fast-paced parkour maneuvers. The sequel wants to fix one of the few weaknesses of the first part and offer a better story
