Last November, almost a hundred jobs were eliminated, mainly in administrative services, the IT team and the special effects studio, particularly in the Montreal teams. Layoffs that the group justified with a comprehensive restructuring plan; which should have no impact on ongoing productions. However, the company has announced a new wave of layoffs.

With all of these layoffs around the world, it would have been strange for Ubisoft to resist these difficult changes. In fact, most other studios have already had to lay off several employees.
