According to Ubisoft, the map of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is actually larger than that of Odyssey.
The amount of content coming Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Once again become the topic of discussion. After Ubisoft ’s Middle East spokesperson stated that the game will not be the largest or longest game in the series, Valhalla developers are now involved.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla producer Julien Laferriere revealed in an interview with YouTuber Julien Chieze that Valhalla’s world map is actually better than Odyssey The already huge land is bigger.
In an interview with Reddit’s translation, Laferriere said that because the game’s map is composed of parts of England and Norway, its size is smaller than other Assassin’s Creed games.
“I would actually say that its range may be greater than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” La Ferrier said in the translated quote. “I don’t have exact numbers yet, but we have created not only the whole country (in this case England), but also a large part of Norway.
“There are other secret worlds that I cannot talk about today. These secret worlds have contributed to the development of the game. This is not a small game, but an ambitious game that will provide players with many hours of games time.”
We obviously have not personally compared it with Valhalla, but it is important to remember that the original statement does not necessarily contradict Laferriere ’s comments. The map of Valhalla may actually be the largest map of the series on land, but the content of missions and unique locations may have been reduced so far.
Considering when the game takes place, we may not see many dense urban environments, which will greatly affect our perception of the size and scale of Valhalla. In summary, Ubisoft felt that it was important to emphasize the size of the map during the interview.
In case you missed it, creative director Ashraf Ismail recently shared the early situation of the player’s settlement in England.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Holiday is released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
