Star Wars to the sound of violins
Greeted by the sound of an orchestra, viewers at Ubisoft Forward on June 10, 2024 were able to discover everything the developer will offer them in the coming months. And to start this conference in style, Star Wars: Outlaws opens the ball for almost 25 minutes. The game is revealed in a presentation full of promise, both in terms of the story, the planets to visit and the different phases of the gameplay
Due to the dark side of his problems, It comes close to the atmosphere typical of the first trilogy of the saga, both in its slightly “dirty” retro-futuristic aesthetic and in its aspect focused on the true discovery of primordial planets. The title looks really promising, both in its story and in its gameplay. A gem yet to come that we will present to you in more detail in our column at the top of the page!
A prince and an assassin
Ubisoft is also using the conference to briefly focus on the Prince of Persia license and in particular on The Lost Crown and the upcoming DLC. Mask of Darknessbut also current: Rogue Prince of Persia. Anno 117: Pax Romana was also revealed in a pretty fun teaser, promising a new opus, this time focusing on the Roman Empire. But the real second wind of this conference was undoubtedly Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which offered even more gameplay after its presentation during the Xbox Games Showcase the day before.
For almost 20 minutes, the title reveals the different gameplay that the title’s two main characters will offer. That of Naoe, the assassin, is somewhat reminiscent of that of the series Tenshu, whose specialty is infiltration. A style of play that puts many players at ease. As for Yasuke, who at first glance is portrayed as the complainer of the duo, ultimately shows a very good style in sword fights. The focus of the title really seems to be on combat, be it through the destruction of armor or even the black and white sequences that highlight the kills.
Although the conference was dominated by these two important and anticipated titles, it was full of surprises. To find out more, Do not hesitate to consult our special JV Fast at the top of the page!
