Some new gameplay for Payday 3 has been uploaded online in advance, completely uncut, for our viewing pleasure.
Uploaded early by a content creator in Vietnam (who seemed to take off his mask early), it was taken down by the early bird a few hours later. However, keen eyes on the internet spotted the mistake and reuploaded the video. We can’t link directly to the leaked information, but a minute or so of searching on Reddit will make you wonder where they’re trying to go.
We’ve seen Payday 3 gameplay directly from the developers before, but this is the first time we’ve seen regular players try out the game.What we saw was a game that looked like very similar There are visual, UI, and many other updates and improvements throughout to Payday 2. That’s certainly not a bad thing — payday minds have every reason to be excited.
We also saw some of the new hostage features messed up. It’s one of Payday 3’s newest features, but it can complicate the scenario where you get caught up in a heist a bit.
The other highlight of the game leak is the music. Payday has always been full of rock and roll, and the action track played throughout the game’s leaks is another smooth song that fits the tone of Payday well. Add to that the tense moments at the end of the mission, where the team has to scramble to escape with the stolen money, while packing special weapons seems pretty plentiful!
With this footage leaking online, you might expect more videos soon from content creators who actually abide by the embargo set in the preview sessions they attended. Payday 3 launches on September 21st of this year, so you won’t have to wait long before you can try the game out for yourself.
