Last September, Sony announced the launch of the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, a compilation of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted The Lost Legacy. Today the date is getting clearer, at least on PS5.
Let it be said: if PC gamers still have to wait patiently for a new announcement, Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will be released on January 28, 2022 on PS5. Sony actually formalized its release date:
A compilation that wasn’t stolen?
The manufacturer has split a new trailer for the occasion to remind explorers of a few good times that Uncharted 4 and Uncharted The Lost Legacy have already traveled up, down and across, not without remembering the many graphics options of this compilation:
- A fidelity mode for playback in native 4K at 30 frames per second
- A performance mode that offers a frame rate of 60 frames per second
- A new Performance + mode with 1080p display at 120 frames per second on compatible screens
But you should never claim victory too early, because the list of requirements is oh so long for those who already have one or the other episode of Uncharted:
Players who bought UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End, UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy or the UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy Digital Pack can pay 10 dollars to upgrade to the digital version of UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves. The upgrade will be available when the game launches on January 28, 2022.
Players who have a disc version of the game on PS4 will need to insert it into the PS5 every time they want to download or play the digital version on PS5. Players who own a disc version of the game on PS4 and purchased the PS5 Digital Edition without a disc player will not be able to receive the PS5 version at a discount.
PlayStation Plus members who have already downloaded UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End through their PlayStation Plus subscription are not eligible for the $ 10 upgrade offer to the digital PS5 version.
The multiplayer mode included in UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End and UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy will not be included in this new edition.
If this list doesn’t scare you, The Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will therefore be available on PS5 on January 28, 2022. PC gamers can pre-order their version now at steam and theEpic Games Store until publication, still planned for “2022”.
