Many Battlefield fans are now familiar with the Temporyal dataminer. Since almost half a year after the release of Battlefield 2042 there is still nothing to see or hear about new content, its discoveries offer a welcome glimpse of the uncertain future of the game. In the files of the last patch, Temporyal has now discovered references to new weapons, helicopters and the new map.
We summarize for you what you can expect as future content. By the way, there are already assumptions about when the first season can be expected:

Season 1 date and hidden patch changes discovered
How reliable is information from data mining? Since these are game files, the authenticity of 3D models, texts, sound files or similar is fairly well secured. Temporyal is also known as a reliable source for information about the Battlefield games. In the case of Battlefield 2042, content and features that he had already discovered were also published.
Of course, despite all this, developers could still decide not to use unreleased content in their game after all, so there’s no guarantee that what’s shown will end up in the game.
New weapons, vehicles and maps for BF 2042
New melee weapons: New, extraordinary melee weapons can be found in the game files. The khanjar is a dagger that clearly shows its Persian origin. You may soon be able to equip a Japanese short sword with the Wakizashi. The Santa Muerte stick sword is clearly reminiscent of the aesthetics of the Mexican festival of the dead:

Futuristic looking helicopters: In addition, Temporyal discovered the descriptions of two attack helicopters. It is unclear whether these could replace the currently existing combat helicopters or whether they will also be available. Also note that the artwork shown is not official material. Only the description texts come from the game files:

Map-Details von Exposure: True, the developers have already confirmedthat this new map is to come, but details have not yet been announced. Temporyal had previously shown artwork for the map and has now found more details in the game files: Obviously you have to watch out for exposure to falling rocks and destructible pipes. Two new player maps may also provide a taste of the new map.
