Bumblebee's Travis Knight is the sixth director to withdraw from Sony's Uncharted Movies project.
Knight attachment Unknown movie After Dan Tractenberg, who replaced father Shawn Levy, left the project in August 2019.
Mark Wahlberg will play Sully in the film, and Spider-Man: Homecoming Tom Holland will play the young Nathan Drake.
According to Deadline's report on Knight's departure, Walberg and Holland are still attached; however, tight time schedules in the Netherlands have delayed film production. It is scheduled to begin production early this year.
The report states that the Dutch timetable is due to Knight leaving the project (thanks to GI.biz).
There aren't many lucky directors in this photo, because they were Seth Gordon, Neil Burger, and David O. Russell.
Various script writers have also redesigned it repeatedly. Currently, the script is hosted by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway of Rafe Judkins and Iron Man.
