Conan Exiles starts the new year right away a big update, which not only polishes well-known game mechanics, but also eliminates a number of bugs. According to the developer, this is the largest bugfix update they have released so far. It is also the second of three major updates that prepare for the release of the Isle of Siptah add-on.
What new mechanics are there?
Changes to the Stamina system: In the future you may become “exhausted”. This replaces the previous “Out of Stamina” status. It also changes something in the armor and the weight that you carry around with you. Neither will affect your stamina consumption anymore, but its regeneration.
Less passive shields: The use of shields also changes with the new endurance system. Blocking attacks is such a much more active decision as every blow blocked costs stamina. This means you have to be much more careful in combat.
