How The Contract continues a well-known meme
Now – almost 8 years after the release of GTA 5 – the Lamar roasts Franklin
-Scene even an official sequel. Because the latest update for GTA Online not only brings back the two characters from the single-player story of GTA 5. After you read the actual story about Dr. Dre and his missing cell phone, of course, a little surprise awaits you. Be warned about small spoilers in the following section.

Once you’ve played through the main story of The Contract, Franklin will contact you by phone. In Dres Studio, DJ Pooh, Franklin and Lamar are waiting for you for a small tour. However, the mission requires a second player – you cannot start it alone. And for good reason: You slip into the roles of Franklin and Lamar and experience a few missions from their perspective.
In the course of The Contract, Rockstar Games is paying tribute to its own viral scene by paying an obvious homage to it. Lamar is no longer making fun of Franklin’s hairstyle, but rather the fact that he’s rich and has a family. But who is the real winner and loser in the following exchange of blows, everyone has to decide for themselves:

Incidentally, we had the opportunity to interview Shawn Fonteno about the release of The Contract. The actor from Franklin Clinton explained a few things about how it came to filming the roast scene together with Gerald Slink
Johnson kam:
Slink and I had actually always planned [eine oder mehrere Szenen aus GTA 5] to re-shoot. However, our diaries always got in each other’s way – that went on for at least four or five years! Then one day Slink called me out of nowhere and said we had to do this scene. Originally we were actually talking about someone else. But then Slink told me that someone [die Szene] with Kermit, the frog or someone else [nachgestellt hat] and everyone was dissing on me. […] So we did the scene and … it just went viral. […] We couldn’t have chosen a better time.
