Update (21/03/24, 15:00 PM GMT): According to an in-game notification, an issue with Helldivers 2 Galactic War not properly recording community progress appears to have been fixed, according to an in-game notification.
Are you stupid? Well, I have some bad news for you about Helldiver 2. The game’s latest patch doesn’t completely eliminate the phenomenon of accidentally destroying one’s own exosuits with one’s own missiles. Additionally, its deployment was followed by a wave of crashes, for which Arrowhead is working on a solution.
Unfortunately, while things are going well for Super Earth’s soldiers in the game as they fight the Terminators, there are still a number of annoying issues plaguing people. Arrowhead is working on fixing a lot of these issues, but yes, it might be a while before we see them all corrected.

Let’s start with the positives, because there’s more going on in Expeditions 2 than you probably know. Arrowhead has now deployed some fixes aimed at resolving some of the issues people were having with friend invites, as well as some glitch statistics. Unfortunately, since then, a number of other issues have arisen, as outlined in the game’s official Discord server.
“We know that many of you [experiencing] There are a lot of crashes happening at the moment (seemingly related to the patch deployed earlier today, which at least resolved the friend request issues a lot of players were having),” community manager Twinbeard outlined in a post to the server late yesterday.” Our team is digging into this issue as we speak. We remain vigilant and ready to update any changes here. We’re deeply sorry for not being able to provide you all with the glorious feeling of bugs and bot stomping, and hope the game becomes more stable as soon as possible. “
If you want to know what types of issues are being reported, this Reddit thread is full of people discussing the issues they’re encountering, with some saying they’re frequently experiencing frustrating crashes during operations, or even worse, just… When they were about to finish a mission.
You can add a “galactic war issue that is not properly tracking the effective spread of your freedom” that seems to be ongoing and is also being looked into, as stated in a message on the server (check the comments) by a man known for being responsible for the behind-the-scenes conflict guy
do you understand? Well, now there’s some more silly news that may disappoint those of you who don’t like looking stupid. While yesterday’s patch did address the issue of destroying your own exosuits by firing missiles while turning, it looks like more work needs to be done to make mechs completely immune to the effects that can backfire on people in interesting ways. To be clear, the behavior shown above of firing missiles that can kill you seemingly randomly appears to have been around before yesterday’s patch, although some players seem to be reporting that it may have become more common since the patch, which It also appears to make targeting the missile more difficult.
So, yeah, maybe you should hold on to Starship Troopers for a while while you wait for these issues to be corrected.
