Valhalla that took eight hours is condensed in this four-minute timelapse

Yesterday was announced Assassin's Creed: Valhalla at about 2pm … well, not exactly. That's when it started streaming in which the artist BossLogic elaborated the official illustration, but it was not until he managed to finish it eight hours later that we knew the final title.

In the process we were receiving clues of his rumored Nordic setting, and it was funny to confirm it as the hours passed. However, it was also a masterful exhibition of the work that a concept artist usually does. A tremendous workout that Ubisoft has summarized in a timelapse of almost four minutes.

Although from the beginning the structure was more or less clear, with a central character dividing two landscapes of opposite colors, it is still impressive the change that illustration has been experiencing in those eight hours. And it all started by pasting a couple of cloud photos, mind you.

There is tremendous satisfaction in seeing how everything is taking shape. I don't think anyone had the patience to swallow the entire eight-hour streaming, so this quick camera summary is a perfect sample of the great talent of video game illustrators, which we normally take for granted.

On Assassin's Creed: ValhallaThis is the only thing we have for now. Not for long, yes, because this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. (Peninsular Spain time) it will be published the first trailer of the game. Be that as it may, Ubisoft managed to capture our attention with yesterday's streaming. At the very least, we will remember him when we see the cover in stores.
