Valheim’s Xbox date was already fixed last week on the occasion of new business figures, but now the concrete release date on this platform has also been set.
We’ve known for a few days that the survival game Valheim will also be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in March 2023. This indication of the month has now been further specified in an official press release, so that we can now give you a specific date.
Coffee Stain Publishing and Iron Gate have now confirmed that the Viking survival game will be available on the two Xbox consoles from March 14, 2023. The announcement was made during the IGN Fanfest via a brand new teaser that also showed Xbox gameplay.
In less than a month, Xbox players will be able to join the more than ten million Valheim PC players. Also on consoles you have to fight mythical creatures and create powerful weapons and armor as well as upgrade your Viking settlement.
Valheim started early access on the PC in February 2021 and has since received various minor and two major updates. The latter, for example, brought with it a brand new endgame biome, the Mistlands.
Anyone who is a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass will be able to play the Xbox version directly from March 14th at no additional cost, because the title is included in the subscription service. On the console there is a control specially adapted to the controller.
