Iron Gate’s Early Access darling Valheim Coming to PC Game Pass on September 29, it will provide full cross-platform gaming support with Steam.
Cross-platform gaming support will expand to Xbox when it launches on Xbox Game Pass in Spring 2023.
Coming to Xbox, the Viking survival game will be a console exclusive at launch. At press time it is not known when it will be released for PlayStation.
Iron Gate plans to release the game’s next update, Mistlands, later this year. This update will focus more on adventure and exploration than building, and features a new forest biome.
The Mountains Update is the latest content release, and it was released in March.
Released in 2021 via Steam Early Access, Valheim is a rather brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. It’s where you can craft powerful weapons, build longhouses, and fight formidable foes, all while trying to forge your very own Valhalla in the wilderness.
Since the Early Access release, the game has Moved over 10 million copies And at one point it reached an all-time high of over 500 players.
