Iron Gate Studio released an update to its Viking survival game walheim For the initial public beta period.
An update to the request titled Hildir welcomes Hildir, a merchant who will provide you with a large collection of cosmetics. The character will also send you quests to restore her store inventory.
Hildir is the sister of the mysterious cloaked dwarf trader Haldor, who peddles all manner of exquisite wares, including dresses, tunics, hats, and even fireworks to decorate the night sky.
You can also buy the components needed to build a barbershop, where you can makeovers to update your look. But these features won’t just show up, as you’ll need to collect the required pieces of Hildir’s request across multiple biomes to get the rewards.
New difficulty levels and gameplay options have also landed in Valheim to improve and add to general gameplay.
With the introduction of difficulty levels, the relentless nature of the game will reach even greater heights. You can now choose to activate Easy, Normal or Hard mode at any time during the game.
The normal mode will maintain the current difficulty of Valheim, and the hard mode will increase the enemy’s HP and damage output. Easy mode will give you options for a lighter, more easy-going adventure, especially if you play as a pacifist or a builder.
Valheim arrived in PC Early Access in February 2021 to widespread critical acclaim, and the game quickly gained a cult fan base in the millions. Since then, it’s gone through two major content updates — Hearthstone and Homeworld and The Mistlands — on the Microsoft Store, PC Game Pass, and most recently Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass.
