Episode 4, Act 3 of Valorant is fast approaching. Riot Game used Valorant’s Masters Reykjavík to formalize the arrival of a new agent who will eclipse the rest of the cast.
A new agent is coming to Valorant. As the first production from Riot Games that is not set in the Runeterra universe, the tactical shooter quickly found its audience. Valorant already had more than 14 million active players as of June 2021 and the studio is regularly releasing new content to keep them. More specifically, it is divided into episodes that span multiple acts. Each adds major updates with new features. And we now know more about the final act of Episode 4.
Fade, an agent lurking in the shadows
This chapter is marked by the arrival of Fade, a new agent already leaked on the internet a few days earlier. Now it’s official, she will join the fight and support her comrades with her abilities that will allow her to master a nightmarish shadow. This different breed pet will be able to swoop down on its enemies in many ways.
Lurking in the shadows, ready to attack, Fade haunts his enemies, relentlessly pursuing them in search of their fears to disrupt before they break them. This initiator-type agent haunts all who venture into the darkness of her ink, turning every little shadowy thing into a nightmare sight.
A new Battle Pass for Valorant
For example, one of his powers allows him to project an orb on the ground that will pull nearby players towards the center once it explodes. He can also turn into a scout and reveal the position of opponents or even hunt one of them. Thus, this 19th agent presents itself as the best alternative to Sova, which was the only one up until then that was based heavily on recognition.
It will be available this week to coincide with the next major Valorant update. As usual, this patch is accompanied by a new Battle Pass with free and paid rewards. The menu features a lucky charm, weapon skins, graffiti and a player card.
