Recently announced that the Valve Index should be replenished in a timely manner on the Half-Life Alyx released later this month.
After the announcement of Half-Life Alyx, the Valve Index VR headset sold a staggering 103,000 units, but the disaster soon came. Due to the coronavirus, Valve's production plans for expensive headphones were so completely off-axis that it was still out of stock a month before the release date of Half-Life Alyx.
However, a recent RPS report mentioned that restocking of the Valve Index may be in progress. Specifically, there are rumors that the headset will be re-sold on Monday, March 9. However, it may also be sold out almost immediately.

A little fishy, but they also went on to post another tweet that explicitly mentioned replenishment.

Still not specific, but people are already eager to get an index just in case this is the last chance before Alyx launches.

The price of the index is £ 919, so these people mean business. It might seem crazy to drop the grand announcement in four days based on an unofficial leak, but hey, this is obviously the most expensive video game in history, Half-Life.
"Half-Life" Alyx will be available on March 23, 2020. Obviously, you need to use Index to play, otherwise these people will not care much about replenishment.
