Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has been updated with a new map to bring players of the original game back to Drachenfel.
Pest 2 Players can enjoy Drachenfels's first map Old Haunts for free. After updating on Steam, it will be added to your game.
In addition to Drachenfels, this is also the start of the second season of the game, which introduces Quick Play Weaves, Lohner's Miracle Shopping Center and more. Download all for free.
Lorna Wonderland is a new game store where you can buy cosmetics. Every day and weekly missions reward you with a new game currency called the shilling, which can be used for the cosmetics mentioned above. The store will include hats and hero skins at launch, and more content will be added over time. Anyone who owns an existing DLC will receive a "one-time shilling per DLC" and other tasks.
There will also be some premium cosmetics that can be purchased in the real world through DLC as Steam. Fatshark said that these advanced products will help support continuous development and that "shilling purchasable cosmetics far exceed the available cosmetics on the DLC" label.
The update also introduces Quick Play Weaving, a new "faster" way of weaving. There will be 5 difficult separate queues, you can now join any queue you want, and now you can also use robots for weaving. The team has also increased the number of essences obtained after weaving and added a large amount of essence rewards for completing the fast play version.
In addition to the new content, developers have applied changes and fixed some issues since the Q2 update as the content is in beta. Here is the full patch description for Update 2.1.0.
Vermintide 2 Patch 2.1.0
grade
Fight grain
- Fixed an issue where players who died in the escape sequence would respawn at illogical locations.
Call of Decay
- Fixed patrol paths to prevent specific patrols from getting stuck.
- Fixed a position where enemies would make long leaps to players at specific locations instead of advancing as expected,
- Players should now be able to complete "Feed Me Sinner!" On Cataclysm difficulty.
Fate of war
- Fixed a location where players could completely mitigate enemy attacks.
Old ghost
- Fixes dynamite and explosive barrels (as well as regular pickup adjustments).
- Fixed an issue where dead players could be respawned behind a closed door in the Gargoyle area.
- Fixed some sticky points that might get stuck with players.
- Enemies can no longer pass through the closed tavern doors in the village area.
- Robots like to commit suicide in a specific place. We gave them some help in this regard.
Skittergate
- Fixed an issue where the AI navigation grid floated at such a tiny location above the terrain.
- Fixed some hanging racks so that players don't just hang out at a predetermined location and immediately die.
Weave
- Changed the way the fill bar completes the weaving, now the goal is always to lock 80% of the bar, and the remaining 20% is to kill at least 80% of the enemies generated by the terrorist event (the value of the rover is small).
Bots enabled for use in Quickplay Weave.
General adjustments, repairs
- The various Kerillian and Kruber weapon illusions show false illusions, the most notable of which is the first person-corrected.
- Added more restrictions on where players randomly drop items when they die, so they are much less likely to be caught on the floor and disappear.
- The painting selection UI can now display the paintings being used in your Keep.
- Changed the "Kill Animals" quest to record the animal kills of all players in the group, not just the animal killers.
- Complete 3 daily tasks and "Complete Weekly Activities" every week.
- Change the weekly challenge requirement to always have the same requirement value, for example, if you get a weekly painting defect event, it should always be 10.
- Reduced the number of paint shavings needed to complete related weekly tasks from 10, 20, 30 to 10.
- Fix dark weekly events so that it doesn't crash when closing the game or ending a mission.
- We fixed a crash due to the level of game selection not being present in the build of the game the player is playing (for example, switching from Beta to Production after performing a Beta test mission).
- Fixed some cases where even after pressing "Return Hold", completing the host migration game would reload the level.
Battle adjustment, repair
- Reduced the range of Ungors' normal attacks and running attacks.
- The Smiter staggered damage talent no longer prevents staggered damage to the target after the first attack. Damage will be calculated as normal.
- Wizard hunts and similar effects (blade warriors, hunters, etc.) now last up to 15 seconds (the full duration of the tag). The duration refresh should mark the target again. Marked targets can be marked again to reapply the debuff effect.
Fixed an issue where bleeding effects would not stack properly (Witch Hunter Captain Frans, Executioner Sawtooth). - Reduced cooldown on rebalancing attacks-Now all non-melee attacks will only give class skills a cooldown on the first target hit. This has always been a problem in Combat Wizards and Shadow Profession, mainly because they can use area damage long-range weapons (deflagration / fireball staff and Hagban Schottbow) to obtain a very high level of cooldown recovery of class skills. This change should reduce outsiders without significantly affecting other professions.
- We try to smooth the reliability of the system, which measures enemy damage and enemy density.
Heleborgs' Tutelage (Mercury) and Smite (Zealot) will no longer be critically hit by the push.
Fixed Hunter's Longbow not being reloaded when it is interrupted by a player during a shooting action, instead of triggering a reload event
Weapons
- Two-Handed Hammer-Light Attack 1 Weapon switching window increased from 0.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds.
- Two-Handed Hammer-The number of chains from Light Attack 1 to Light Attack 2 has been reduced from 0.85 to 0.7.
- Great Axe-Light Attack 1 to Light Attack 2 Chain window reduced from 0.7 to 0.65.
- Great Axe-Light Attack 2 to Light Attack 3 chain window reduced from 0.65 to 0.6.
- Beamstaff-Stop resetting the Beamstaff Hit Counter if the player hits the environment, or reset if the player hits the enemy (dead or alive)
- Tasker Spear-Reduces heavy thrust (such as shield weapons) to moderate thrust (such as a 2h hammer).
- Huntsman Longbow-When the player is interrupted during a shooting action, rather than before the reload event is triggered, the reload is not triggered. Fixeeeddd.

- Ember Fire-Now has an internal cooldown of 0.5 seconds.
