At the beginning of November the servers of Capcom they suffered an attack that killed several of the company’s services. Even though their games continued to work and there was no access to user data, it does appear that files and emails were affected of the company.
After disconnecting their servers to try to control the problem, they discover a message from the hackers in which they ask for money for the stolen information, among which are worker data, employee personal information and other private data.

In addition, a series of information is released on the company’s plans for the coming months, including titles such as Resident Evil Village or the saga Monster Hunter. A list of games and projects known or to announce that they have collected from Resetera:
- Resident Evil Village: version for the current generation, released in April, demo before launch.
- Project Highway / Village Online: multiplayer project Battle Royale.
- Ace Attorney Collection: PS4 y Switch.
- Guillotine: project for Switch (February) and other platforms (May).
- Reiwa: project to be announced (May).
- Monster Hunter Rise: demo for Switch in January and March, version for PC in October 2021.
- Monster Hunter Stories 2: launch on Switch and PC in June 2021.
- Resident Evil 4: An eye for VR.
- Shield: multiplayer shooter focused on streaming.
- Strategic information: Devil May Cry 2 source code, Umbrella Chronicles and figures from Stadia and Sony deals.
Bliss information should be collected with tweezers, no longer due to the simple fact of coming from an unreliable source, but also due to the fact that a company’s projects come and go and some of those shown may have already modified their dates or objectives.
Capcom has regretted the situation but has not made reference to the filtration to confirm or deny any of those projects. He is currently working with the Japanese and American authorities to clarify what happened.
