Before the new Visions of Mana is released in August, you can get an idea of the RPG yourself thanks to a playable demo.
Square Enix is allowing you to take a closer look at the new action role-playing game Visions of Mana before the full version is actually released. A playable demo has now been released for the first new main part of the renowned Mana series in 15 years.
This demo version is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Microsoft Store, Steam) platforms alike; it gives you a taste of what you can expect in the full version from August 29th on the same platforms.
The demo begins in the middle of Chapter 1 in an area called Crystal Rapids. From there you can explore other areas such as the Fallow Steppe or the harbor village of Rhata. You can also take on the final boss of this chapter, the giant octopus. The adventurers available in the group are Val, Carina and Morley, so you can try out different wind and moon classes.
Since the developers wanted to create a more varied experience with the demo, save data from the trial version cannot be transferred to the full version later. However, anyone who has a demo save and later buys the full version will receive three weapons for Val as a bonus: Gladius, Falx and Hornlance.
