WB Games has cancelled the online service of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
According to the update on the game support website, as the network changes, access to certain functions is no longer provided. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This includes all platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.
The online part of the game is no longer available, including Nemesis Forge features and online leaderboards. Also, since certain actions related to these online positions provide achievements or trophies, players will automatically earn them.
Since the WBPlay platform is no longer available, Epic Runes’ “Orc Hunter” and “Graveyard Walker” upgrades are now automatically granted to all players.
“Vendetta Mission” is one of the coolest things in this game, and it will no longer be available. If you are not familiar with the game, other players can see where you died and whose hands. This allows them to enter the game world and avenge your death. It’s so cool, we can say that several of my friends avenged my death more than once. In the early game, you may die a lot, or at least I am dead.
These online services were withdrawn on January 12.
The game was developed by Monolith and released in 2014, followed by the sequel “Middle-earth: Shadow of War”. Here, the Nemesis system has been expanded, allowing you to gather and control an army of orcs, and together raid orc fortresses to recover and control them. The online service of Shadow of War remains unchanged.
