The long-awaited major update for Fallout: London, patch 1.02, was finally released today, October 18th. As previously announced, it comes with a ton of fixes and tweaks to be released as the mod rolls out. Has been picked up a million times.
If you haven’t played it yet, Fallout: London is well worth checking out for its interesting take on post-apocalyptic British culture and the fact that it’s a pretty good Fallout game in its own right, technically speaking The latter is something this latest patch aims to help with in a substantial way.

“The upd ate is scheduled to be downloaded on GOG at 18:00 GMT+1,” reads an announcement about patch 1.02 in the mod’s Discord server. “This update brings over a thousand fixes to the world of Fallout London. From visual improvements , to bug and task fixes – you’ll notice a huge difference immediately.”
It looks like the full changelog is still in progress, but as I mentioned before, the FOLON team has previously revealed what’s in store for this update, with project manager Dean ‘Prilladog’ Carter writing in th at post “we” We brought in some outside help to improve performance, facegen data and LODs, and it took a while to get them up to speed. “
As mentioned earlier, the patch will be October 18, 6pm BST (1pm ET) and 10am PT. The team has scheduled a full announcement video to be released at that time, so be sure to check it out below when the time comes as it will likely run through all the changes and provide specific details to help answer any questions you may have.
The FOLON team also provided some helpful instructions on how to update in their Discord post, as follows:
- Update Fallout: London in your GOG library (this will update the launcher)
- News updates in the Fallout: London launcher (follow the instructions here)
- Navigate to the Fallout 4 Data folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data – or – C:\GOG\Fallout 4 GOTY\Data
The team also updated the mod’s availability on GOG for free, writing that it’s “very close to being redeemed over 1,000,000 times,” which is cool.
“We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming support and positivity the project has received,” it concluded, “your feedback plays a vital role in our ongoing efforts to troubleshoot and fix bugs as we continue to improve Fallout: London” until it is perfected. “
