Want to own a functional replica of the Dark Knight’s Batmobile? And, uh, $3 million in spare funds? then i have some good news

Batmobile, Dark, functional, funds, Good, Knights, million, news, replica, Spare

We’ve all dreamed of owning a Batmobile, and soon 10 (very wealthy) people are going to make that dream a reality.

There are so many different incarnations of Batman that we all have our own favorite Batmobile, depending on when we grew up – my personal favorite is Batman: The Animated Seriesbut that shouldn’t be surprising considering I grew up watching it. Recent versions have become more militaristic in appearance, partly due to the Dark Knight’s version, the Tumbler. It wasn’t my favorite and I didn’t want to own one, but it didn’t matter because it turned out that even if I did want it, I couldn’t afford it. That’s because Wayne Enterprises, the very real business based on the civilian persona of Batman, Bruce Wayne, is selling a real roly-poly for the bargain price of $3 million.

No it’s not a joke, yes it’s an actual, fully functional car that you can drive around…well, sort of, since it’s not particularly road legal, but if you’re a guy with a lot of personal Car collector land of vehicles where you can drive it safely. This thing is absolutely ridiculous, and only 10 were made, so you have to register to be considered a buyer (unfortunately, applications closed last month, so if you’re stupid rich, 1. why are you still To read (this, you have so much money, you should spend your time differently, 2. You are out of luck).

I won’t even pretend to understand what all the specs mean, but for the engines out there, you can check out the website for more details on the engines. Mostly, I’m just surprised that something so extravagant exists, but when the rest of the company is dedicated to jewelry, watches, and AI robots (it’s starting to feel like this place is only for rich people), maybe I shouldn’t be. I think I’ll stick with my silly little toy car, thank you very much.
