Palworld isn’t available on PlayStation just yet, but a tweet from the game’s community manager seems to hint at its arrival.
Currently, if you want to play Palworld, the only way to do so is to do so on PC or Xbox Series X/S. This isn’t a problem for the game, as it has attracted a large number of players in a short period of time after its release, but it’s always nice if games are playable on multiple platforms. There have been many users online who have expressed a desire to play this Pokemon-inspired game (and I say inspired by it here) on PlayStation, but there has been no official news that the game will be ported to the platform. However, yesterday, Bucky, the community manager for Palworld, shared a tweet that seems to suggest that it will be released on PlayStation.

In the tweet, Bucky wrote the name of the game between black, green, and white heart emojis, then went on to say, “I want to add more hearts, but not sure what colors would be right… um… how about…” before writing Palworld again between the same emojis and adding a blue heart emoji. “I think it looks good!” they continued, adding a suggestive eyes emoji at the end. Blue is obviously the main color of the PlayStation brand, while black, white, and green are the main colors of the Xbox brand, so Bucky’s suggestion here seems pretty clear.

While you’ll have to wait and see if the PlayStation version makes it, developer Pocketpair showed off Palworld’s next expansion, the Sakurajima Update, at Summer Game Fest earlier this month. The update will bring a whole new island to explore and, unsurprisingly, some new companions. You’ll be able to check out the update when it launches next week on June 27.
