Warframe the latest update, New war, Right by our side! With the arrival of Erra, Sentient Invasion, and the doomed confrontation between our players and our old ally Lotus, years of narrative clues are coming together. But this begs the question, what can we expect from the new war?
Last week, we were invited to work with other media members and content creators to learn about the upcoming updates to Warframe in advance. From this early presentation, we have a good understanding of what to expect on December 15th. To help you understand what will happen, we have listed all the information we learned below!
Warframe New War: What we know about the main tasks
(Warning, this section may contain spoilers for the first act of the mission, so if you want to enter completely blindly, please feel free to skip to the next section!)
The new war is a Multi-behavior task This will lead us to complete the battle against sentient invasion. In the gameplay shown in Tennocon 2021, we saw the perspectives of Grineer, Corpus and Teshin, but at the press conference, we took a closer look at the players’ participation in the first act of the battle.
As Tenno, we are fighting against the Sentient in a huge space battle, using our channel starship to repel ships with the previously hostile factions. In this battle, we ejected Tenshin on the Sentient mothership, which seamlessly transitioned to his part in the first act. As far as we know, The whole first scene is stitched together like this
The second act that we will not destroy has a non-combat part, according to the Q&A after the demo One ounce of Persona 5 inspiration. You have to play by yourself and see what it means.
Task is Main focus of the update, So you won’t find an open world as huge as the new war in the Heart of Flamingo update. There are some new post-war content There, but bread and butter are the core narrative experience of the renewal.
The task and all its actions can be from Four to six hours to complete, Depends on the player’s speed. The mission is a completely single-player experience, So this time you will experience all events without friends.
Despite the large-scale battles taking place throughout the galaxy, The events of the new war will not affect the previous content, There is no content lock. So if you have not finished polishing The Quills like me, don’t worry!
Preparing for a new war, Encourage players to review old missions and the story beats that led to this updateIf you want, you can also cheer up Paracesis, but this is not necessary for the task. As a final note, Players should choose their loading carefully Before entering the new war, because this will be the first time you experience the loading of missions. Choose carefully!
The New War and all its performances will be released on December 15th, So there is no suspense here!
(h2) Warframe New War: Caliban Warframe
Those who pay close attention to the development flow of Warframe will realize Caliban Battlegear With the advent of the new war, we finally see the shining things in action.
Its passive is called Affectionately adapt, Just like the Sentient enemies you may have fought in the past, if you take sustained damage, it will provide damage resistance to the source. So, for example, the more times you are hit, the stronger your resistance to fire damage.
Its first ability is Razer Maneuver, A whirlwind attack that allows you to rotate and move, slashing enemies you encounter. Think of it as a huge spinning top, because you can make it tear the entire room and cause a lot of damage.
The second one is coming Wrath of W isdom
The third ability available to Caliban- Deadly offspring -Allows you to summon up to three Sentients in battle. There is not much synergy here, but it looks really cool to have your own team of robot buddies to help clean the room and take some damage.
Last but not least is the ultimate version of Caliban: Fusion strike! It starts with three lasers, shoots out in three directions in front of Caliban, and slowly gathers toward the center. Once they do this, the beam will cause more damage, so it is best to maintain this ability for as long as possible to make the most of the reward.
We don’t yet know how we got Caliban, we just know that they are in “New post-war content“. Therefore, if you want to get this mysterious new framework, you need to complete a new task first.
(h2) Warframe New War: New post-war content
Digital Extremes sees the new war as the next major development point in future content. The new content from now on will target players who have completed a new warImagine it as a narrative bottleneck. You must do this before you can make future updates.
The new war will leave some form of visual scar on the system, but it doesn’t elaborate on what this means, it’s just that it will happen. Similarly, there are no new planets/locations in the new war, but players will know where they will go in future updates after the new war event.
although There is no new open world in the new world, Digital Extremes plans to start a work in the future. So pay attention to this!
Similarly, No cross play in the new war Due to time constraints. It is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022.
