Warframe is getting the latest update for Citrine’s Last Wish today, which brings a shiny new frame, tons of new skins, and more to the game. Plus, the Sydney map is back!
As you can imagine, the star of the show is Citrine! Acquired alongside a slew of new weapons via the new Mirror Defense mission type, this is a spin on the classic format where you must defend a select group of crystal lovers from incoming enemies.
There’s plenty here for the Warframe fashionista, too. Rhino players will be delighted to find new deluxe skins waiting for them that make them look like insects, and frankly look great. Additionally, there’s a new void shell skin for Ember, some new face tattoos for the Draftter, and a Multiform Visage ink pack to spruce up the character’s visuals.
All of this, including the frame, can be purchased for platinum in the in-game store if you’re too lazy to dig it out. So you can sell some of your valuables to other players, or empty your wallet.
Finally, there are some quality of life changes that should make end gamers a little happier. This includes a mercy system for Tauforced Archon Shards, which means you don’t have to think long about tricky stuff. There are also status effect buffs, open world lighting improvements, and cloth smoothing tech.
Will you jump into the new update? Let us know below, and if you’re excited about tinkering with Citrine.
