The retro shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun has been well received by fans and they now have reason to rejoice, as an expansion called Forges of Corruption is on the way.
Fans of sophisticated shooters with a penchant for Warhammer 40,000 can rejoice. As Auroch Digital and Focus Entertainment announced, the delightfully successful retro shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will soon be getting a new addition. Forges of Corruption is an extensive DLC that will be released for all platforms on June 18th.
The DLC seems to offer a lot of scope, as the content includes a completely new campaign that will take you through five different environments. Three of them have been revealed so far – the battlefields of Graia, Manufactorum and the Demon Forge. And because it’s so nice, new enemies await you in the new areas. Among others, you’ll have to deal with the Black Havok Legion, Helbrute and Terminator. Of course, you’ll also get a few new guns to go with that, namely the multi-melta and the rocket launcher.
Parallel to the DLC, there will also be a new Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Corruption Edition, which contains the main game plus DLC and all previous updates.
