PlayStation players have been waiting long enough for this, but it’s finally happening. Fatshark announced this week that Warhammer 40,000: Undertide will officially launch on PS5 on December 3.

Longtime fans of the Swedish developer will be very familiar with the studio’s seeming penchant for releasing games and major updates at the end of the year, and that certainly hasn’t changed.

The PS5 version of Undertow releases more than a year after the Xbox version (itself delayed) and two years after the original PC version. There is no doubt that Darktide is a better and bigger game now than it was at the end of 2022.

Those playing the game on PlayStation will get the latest version of the co-op shooter melee hybrid, although Fatshark hasn’t revealed anything about PC and Xbox cross-platform support.

Supports all standard PS5 features, including DualSense haptic feedback. The recently released PS5 Pro will also provide you with a better experience, achieving a frame rate of 60fps at 4K resolution. On the standard PS5, you can choose between performance (1440p, 60fps) and quality (4k, 30fps).

The game is now available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy a 10% discount on the Standard Edition and a 15% discount on the Imperial Edition. Speaking of which, the Imperial Edition also unlocks six days early, not to mention it comes with in-game currency and some unique cosmetics.
