Unfortunately, we will not play Warhammer 40,000: Undercurrent this year.
Warhammer 40,000: Undercurrent Developer Fatshark revealed that the release date of the game will be postponed to the spring of 2022. Darktide has never had a clear release target before, but it is expected to be released this year.
The reason for this delay is too common in the gaming industry: the consequences of the coronavirus. Fatshark stated that building games during the pandemic has always been a challenge and requires more time to deliver high-quality products at launch.
In particular, Fatshark stated that the extra time will be used to improve the game and start the system as soon as possible, so that developers can better provide post-release support in the “next years”.

Darktide was announced for PC and Xbox Series X/S almost a year ago. A few months later, we saw the gameplay for the first time. After that, Fatshark revealed the main setting of the story (written by Dan Abnett) and talked about the structure of the game.
Co-op shooting action games will be available at the launch of Xbox Game Pass.
