And again Warhammer, as is the case with a brand at an event. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is getting its first expansion in August and it has now been presented.
Lots of good news about Warhammer 40,000 at the Warhammer Skulls event. This also applies to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, because the first expansion for this CRPG has now been announced. It is called Void Shadows and is due to be released on August 8th for all platforms.
The DLC is set to include a completely new story that will offer around 15 hours of gameplay. Void Shadows sends players into the depths of their own void ship, where they must battle a completely new enemy in a gripping story that is intent on destroying the Valancius dynasty from within.
Also on board is a new companion named Kibellah, with whom you can also enter into a romantic relationship. There are also new high-ranking officers who are irreplaceable for the smooth functioning of the Void Ship and who will also play an important role in the story. Upgrades for the Void Ship are also part of the DLC package.
There is also good news about Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader beyond the expansion: The game now has a bespoke Steam Deck version, so players can carry the darkness of the 41st millennium with them wherever they go.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available for Windows PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. Multiplayer co-op is currently only available for Windows PC, but will be added to the other versions with a later patch.
