Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was as powerful as the battles in it were staged. But there are still flaws and Saber Interactive has a plan to eliminate them.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 runs and runs and runs. Even if it’s a bit bumpy here and there. Saber Interactive is aware of this, and they’re currently enjoying extremely happy hordes of players, who also have a few complaints that the first hotfix couldn’t fix. So it’s a good idea to comment on the work that needs to be done in a Q&A so that the hordes don’t get restless.
One of the main issues is connectivity and server problems. Saber assures that capacities will be expanded and that work will be done to eliminate any problems. A larger patch is planned that should bring further optimizations.
Further improvements concern the AI colleagues, who many people find to be too passive. In the upcoming patch, they will be more involved in boss fights, and we are currently checking whether adjustments to the behavior in special missions will be implemented in a later update. The veteran difficulty level will also be made a little fairer, as the bots are too passive here too.
The balancing in PvE is also likely to receive some adjustments. Saber is in the process of collecting data and already has some aspects on the list, such as the blocking trait and the Melta Gun, which is overpowered due to a bug, or the Bolt Rifle, which is too weak on higher difficulty levels (or the enemies have too much health).
There will also be revisions in PvP, from matchmaking to balancing to enemy spawning. Data is currently being collected for this. Finally, a number of smaller aspects with lower priority will be listed. The entire Q&A zu Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine 2 you can read about it on Steam.
