Why always try something new when you can be inspired by other games? The new clone of FTL: Faster than Light has Warhammer starships. Or at least the designs as well as the setting show very clear parallels to Warhammer 40k. The gameplay of Void War, on the other hand, is transferred 1:1 from the million-dollar success FTL: In real time, you manage your crew in space battles and make decisions along the way through a procedurally generated galaxy. The release on Steam is scheduled for early 2025, but an alpha version for $15 is already available to buy on Itch.io.
