Although we won’t see Batman on the big screen for quite some time, DC Studios wanted to cheer up fans of the Dark Knight with the announcement of a sequel to a film that, over time, has become one of his best current works.
Through its social networks, Warner has confirmed the development of a sequel to Batman Ninja, an anime film that conquered Batman fans. The film does not yet have a release date, but Warner has assured that we will learn more about it on July 4, when it will have its own panel at the Anime Expo.
If the first film left everyone speechless with the design of the characters and their fights, this second installment promises not to be left behind. This time, Batman and his companions will have to face a Yakuza group which seems to be quite special.
However, if you’re expecting this film to be traditionally animated, we have some bad news. Like the first installment, Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League will be animated entirely in CGI by Kamikaze Douga, the studio in charge of animating the openings of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
