Warzone 2, as you might have assumed, has been battling various bugs in its opening weeks. That’s normal, but one player’s new discovery pushes the boundaries of what’s currently possible in the game. We are talking about underwater cargo trucks. makeshift submarine.
This was discovered by Reddit user Possibility47, who posted their findings online in a short video clip. In it, we can see them rushing into the water. The vehicle didn’t break down as expected; instead, it drove along the seabed. Unharmed and frankly calm.
This mistake, if replicable, would have opened the door for some rancid stagnation in the right hand. The Cargo Truck is a highly sought-after vehicle that can only be driven in the Squad playlist in Battle Royale mode. If you can just jump in with your friends and travel long distances underwater without danger, the possibilities are worrisome.
This is where it gets weird. I jumped into Warzone 2 today and tried to replicate the bug. No matter what I try, I have no luck. What you have to do is either very obscure or hard to reproduce. Both of these bode well for the waves this bug could cause in Warzone 2. If the vast majority of players can’t, there’s less pressure on Raven Software to fix it.
Admittedly, fun to watch. Who doesn’t want to have some fun at the bottom of the sea? Obviously, not being able to pilot the squad into the water like James Bond was a bit tough, but hopefully this will pass soon and we can all look back fondly on this oddly niche issue.
