Despite an incredibly successful launch, Call of Duty: Warzone is struggling with some issues: In addition to new bugs that the patch of March 26, 2020 introduced to the game, many players feel like the Battle Royale is being hit by a wave of hackers and cheaters are flooded.
Players are helpless to the hackers
That Free2Play games and especially Battle Royales often have a hacker problem is nothing new – after all, the spoilers can create a new account for free after each ban. Apex Legends already had to contend with a real flood of cheaters, which mainly came from Asia.

However, the Warzone players have so far not had any means to defend themselves against the cheater attacks, because they simply do another simple feature is missing: The ability to report players directly from the game.
Call of Duty: Warzone's Anti Cheat Tool will probably have banished a large, but as yet unknown number of cheaters from the game – but not all of them, as the hacks cannot always be detected.
Many players are therefore demanding, among other things on Reddit, that the developers offer an easy way to report fraudsters directly. Reddit user Synthin, for example, recorded an obvious cheater in a video and explicitly wrote in his posting: "We need a report button!"

Apex Legends has already shown that the possibility of being able to report unrecognized cheaters can have a big impact: After the introduction of the report tool, almost 800,000 cheaters were banned.
Another benefit of reporting: So-called soft cheaters, which use hacks like weakened aimbots, so as not to be recognized by the anti-cheat algorithm, are at risk.
So far, there has been no official announcement from the developers as to whether and when a report tool could be introduced in Warzone – but given the increasing number of cheaters and the great success of the report system with the competition, Infinity Ward should have the fans' wish surely meet soon.
