Infinity Ward's call-of-duty developers just can't make their fans happy. After removing and returning the trio mode for CoD: Warzone twice, they now deliver the next exciter: Warzone is finally getting the duo playlist that players so desperately want – but not as a normal Battle Royale mode.
As Infinity Ward reports via Twitter, the latest playlist update from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare replaces the Plunder quads with Plunder duos. That means we can now compete in teams of two in Warzone, however only in "Plunder: Blood Money" mode.
Tonight’s playlist update is rolling out now across all platforms! BR Trios is back along with replacing Plunder Quads with Plunder Duos! #Warzone https://t.co/Kox49DKprh

What Are Junk Duos? By doing alternative loot money game mode on the Battle Royale map of CoD we do not hunt for kills, but for money. Because in Plunder wins the team that first collected one million dollars of the in-game currency. In addition, we also shoot at enemies or are shot ourselves, but the focus here is clearly on collecting money.
Fans feel kidnapped by Infinity Ward
This junk mode is not bad – and our editor Elena thinks it's even the better Warzone mode – but fans just wanted duos for the normal Battle Royale. They are all the more angry now that they are from Inifinty Ward get the gift you want, but not quite the right one.
On Reddit and under the tweet from the developers, players complain that Ininity Ward obviously wants to troll them. The user Austinobloxham expresses it again very clearly and writes that "nobody, but really nobody" wanted junk duos.
When I say nobody and I mean NOBODY: Nobody wanted plunder duos plain and simple

Among them, the Twitter user RaidAway posted very briefly "give me a like for BR duos" and in fact he has already received over 1,000 hearts for the tweet. There is virtually no real joy in the new duo playlist for loot mode. Some fans only demand that Return of the Shipment 24/7 playlist, but that's another topic.
The developers recently responded relatively quickly to the fan protest surrounding the trios of CoD: Warzone. It remains to be seen what happens this time and when we can finally compete in Call of Duty for two in Battle Royale mode.
