Call of Duty: Warzone received a new update on Tuesday, April 14th, and this is causing great resentment among fans once again. Because the patch has it again Trio playlist removed from Battle Royale mode – and that after the three-man mode just made it back into the game after fan protests.
Instead of the classic playlist for teams of 3, you will find one in the Warzone menu after the latest update new game mode called »riflescopes and shotguns« (in English »Scopes and Scatter Guns«). We play Battle Royale as normal, but only with sniper rifles and shotguns as weapons – mind you, in three-man teams. The trios have not completely disappeared, but they can currently only be played under difficult conditions.
The problem with that: The fans love the classic trio warzone matches. The players had only made this clear at the start of Season 3 of CoD. Because the three-man mode was canceled and replaced by the new quad mode for four players. After protests, the trios came back shortly after – to be kicked out again.
»Trios are the best mode for Warzone!«
On Twitter and Reddit, the CoD fans are now loudly criticizing again. The British Youtuber MrDalekJD tweets, for example, that quads are not bad, but Warzone was clearly designed for trios and would therefore also play best with teams of three.
Warzone Trios is the perfect playlist for Warzone.
Quads is welcomed but it's clear Warzone was made for trios and plays the best with trios. Really don't get why @InfinityWard have removed trios AGAIN after the backlash from quads. Really hope they re-evaluate this decision?

Twitter users Kyle Ferstle also writesthat he is beginning to fear that the developers of Call of Duty wanted intentionally troll their fans. Because the players would just want trios and duos, but instead get a terrible playlist with snipers and shotguns.
Developers should stop removing modes
In CoD: Warzone's subreddit, there are various feedback threads that are almost desperately aimed at the developers of Infinity Ward and demand that the trios be brought back.
For example, a post with the simple heading "For heaven's sake, stop removing playlists" comes to 7,100 upvotes and the post sounds very similar, "I don't know how else to express it, but stops listening to modes remove «, which even received 8,300 thumbs up.
Reddit user Klubhead is a bit more constructive, as he proposes to the developers in his post exactly which modes should be offered in Warzone:
"The modes should be solo, duo, trio, quads and a time-limited mode that is changed every week. It's not rocket science."
The new game mode »Riflescopes and Shotguns« seems to be just as limited a time as Klubhead describes it. So it remains to be seen whether and how quickly the normal trios will return to Warzone. The protest of the fans has already led to the developers quickly giving in.
Do you think the trios will soon be back in the game as usual?
