Today we have an appointment with the developers at Blizzard to discuss some interesting projects and some of the changes coming to the new season ahead of yesterday’s official announcement of Diablo IV Season 5: Hellfire Legion.
Overall, today’s stream will cover the lessons learned from the Season 5 PTR held in July and how it impacts the final version of Season 5 that all players will experience next week.

Admittedly, this was slightly less interesting than previous season reveal broadcasts, simply because Blizzard chose to drop all official information two days before the show aired. Still, the developer has been hinting at some bold changes that will make the game unique, and the broadcasts are usually pretty good at delivering more details.
This is also particularly interesting for the Hellfire Legion Season, as it will add over 50 new legendary and unique gear to the game, so focusing on enhancing unique gear is definitely the right thing to do. Season 5’s main quest also revolves around a new end-game co-op event, which is designed to be another great source of loot.
Today’s live broadcast starts at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm UKyou can watch the livestream as usual on the official Diablo YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter channels. This time, we’ve got Lead Class Designer Adam Jackson (whose segment will be the longest), along with the rest of the development team.
We’ve embedded the Twitch player below, and we’ll come back after the live stream to recap the discussion.
