After a long delay, the joy was recently great: The online part of Watch_Dogs: Legion had finally received a release date. However, the joy for PC gamers only lasts for a short time.
In the coming week, namely on March 9, 2021, the online mode for Watch_Dogs: Legion will finally be delivered with a long delay. The recently communicated deadline is only kept on the consoles; PC gamers are left with nothing for the time being.
Ubisoft has now confirmed via Twitter that the corresponding release on the local arithmetic servant has been delayed again. The reason for this is a problem that can lead to game crashes when players are using certain graphics cards. The team is working hard to fix this problem as quickly as possible, but the release date on the PC cannot be met. A new PC appointment was not yet announced.
On consoles, the anticipation for the coming Tuesday is sometimes at least limited, because the online part will not be fully available here as promised. There is also a problem with the “Tactical Op” mode, which is also a cause of the crash. Also on consoles, at least this part will now be postponed until March 23, 2021; All other planned online modes will be available here as planned from March 9th.
A minor restriction will then affect the version on PS4 and PS5, because here the text chat in the game will initially be restricted. A fix is in the works here and should also follow on March 23rd.
